Check out this photo of the prototype. Wow! What is that?? A customer (Mike Haase) recently asked us if we sold our Mandocaster necks separately. We asked, "Why would anyone want that?". He told us he was building a double neck guitar; 6-string with a Mandolin. We started thinking about that, then soon realized we wanted one too, and suspect if the price was right, you would also want one. So, we made a prototype (see image). After messing around with it for a few days, we decided on some changes to improve the playability (see CAD drawing that incorporates the final changes) like the Mando bridge placement and the headstock shapes. With your help, we'll have these into production and ready to ship to you before Christmas! Here are the specifications:
