We have had a lot of requests for new Tenor models to add to your collection and this one is something you certainly do not have yet. Introducing the Delta Tenor! You gotta get one of these! Put down that Ukulele and start playing some swamp blues on your next tenor guitar. This mighty little tenor has a 23″ scale that works with standard tenor tuning (CGDA) and also octave mandolin tuning (GDAE). You can also set them up with standard electric guitar tuning. Here are the specs:

Great addition to an already comprehensive collection of tenor guitar offerings. Good to see the narrower string spacing based on the middle four strings of a six string guitar. It would be good to see a fret marker on the tenth fret to keep the fret marker police happy. All in all an excellent idea for a new tenor guitar.

Are these primarily for playing in electric mode? What’s the acoustic volume and projection likely to be from the tenor?

how does the nut width on this compare to your other tenors? I could see using one to play banjo jazz chords in a Dixieland band!

I note that the Eastwood Delta 6 and Eastwood Delta 6 Baritone are both available in black. Does Eastwood have plans to avail the Eastwood Delta Tenor in Black, too? (Preferably with the black headstock, like the Delta 6).

I personally find the black paint job more aesthetically pleasing than the Sunburst.

Why are you showing a six sting in your video?…this is for a 4 string tenor…I see in the photo the tailpiece has holes to hold 6 strings…then why demo a 6 string resonator?

Howdy. I have the Warren Ellis tenor – love it. I’m likely to order this one.

Question: What will the string spacing at the bridge be on the Delta tenor? Or even just overall distance from string to string at the bridge.

string spacing is narrower than the WE model, this one will be similar to the middle 4 strings on a 6 string guitar.

The picture shows the strings being strung OVER what is typically a bridge cover in other metal resonator guitars. What gives? But I ordered mine already 🙂
