DEVO Cloud Guitar
Description
Comments

You've waited long enough. Time to get this bad boy into production. Perhaps Bob 1's most famous guitar is the one-off custom made Ibanez that was originally supposed to look like a potato but came out looking more like a cloud. It can be seen in the Devo – Live 1980 DVD (and on the cover) as well as the “Girl U Want” video from 1980. He sold the guitar in the mid-80s, then set out to find it again years later. After over a decade of fruitlessly searching, it was finally found in the possession of pro skateboarder Jason Jessee who reunited Bob with the guitar.
Now, I know we'd all like an exact replica, but there are some things that Ibanez did at the time that will be impractical to include in our tribute version - namely the embedded overdrive - you can use your pedals for that. We will, however, include the cool active treble boost circuit (WarpDrive) and we've replicated the tapped humbuckers for 3-way switching of Humbucker, Single Coil or Out of Phase.
